Double Decker Brownies


These brownies are chocolate on the bottom and vanilla on the top with MM'S baked in and on it! Sure to please everyone!

Needed to make

*3/4 cup softened butter *3 large eggs *1 teaspoon vanilla extract *1 cup sugar *1 cup firmly packed brown sugar *2 1/4 cups flour *1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder *1/2 teaspoon salt *1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder *1 Tablespoon melted butter *1/2 cup mini baking MM's *1/4 cup flour *1/2 cup mini baking MM's

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9 x 13 inch baking pan and set aside. Step 2: In a large bowl or mixer cream softened butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add in eggs and vanilla, mix til well blended. Step 3: In a medium bowl, whisk baking powder, salt and 2 1/4 cups flour: add to creamed mixture. Step 4: Divide batter in half, in two mixing bowls. Step 5: Mix cocoa powder and melted butter together and add to one bowl. Mix well. Step 6: Spread cocoa dough evenly into bottom of baking pan. Step 7: Mix 1/4 cup flour and 1/2 cup MM's into other bowl. Spread evenly in baking pan on top of cocoa mixture. Step 8: Sprinkle the last of MM's on top of pan and lightly press them down. Step 9: Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until edges pull away from sides of pan. Step 10: Allow to cool completely. Cut into bars and store in an air tight container.
