Sausage and Spinach Quiche


This is another family favorite! This is a great, hearty breakfast food that will feed a family of 5 easy!

Needed to make

*9 inch pie crust (defrosted) *1 cup chopped fresh spinach *1/4 cup minced onion *6 oz. or 3/4 cup shredded swiss cheese *1 cup of shredded cheddar or a marble mix of monterey and jack *5 eggs beaten *1/4 cup grated parmeasan *1/4 teaspoon salt *1/4 teaspoon pepper *1/2 lb. sausage *1/2 cup of heavy cream or heavy whipping cream

Step 1: Cook sausage and drain. Return to heat and add spinach and onion, cook until onion is clear. About 2 to 3 minutes. Step 2: Place your pie crust into pie dish or tart pan. Step 3: In a large mixing bowl, add all cheese except the parmesan, egg, sausage mixture, heavy cream, salt and pepper. Stir well. Step 4: Pour mixture into pie crust and spread evenly. Step 5: Sprinkle top with parmesan. Step 6: Bake at 400 for 20-25 minutes. Making sure eggs are done. Set aside to cool for 15-20 minutes.

Now serve. Goes great with hash browns or toast.
