Red Velvet, White Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle

This is a recipe of my own invention. I wanted to make a trifle that had red velvet and this is what I came up with. I hope you like it too.

********************

Needed to make the cake:

*1 box red velvet cake mix

Step 1: Make exactly as the directions on the box say, except for one thing. Use milk in place of the water.

Step 2: Allow to cool completely. Then remove the top of each cake and cut into squares. Set aside.

********************

Needed to make the whipped cream:

*3 cups heavy whipping cream

*1/4 powered sugar

Step 1: Beat the cream until soft peaks form. Add the sugar and beat on high for another minute. Set aside.

********************

Needed to make the white chocolate cheesecake ganache:

*9 oz of white chocolate chips

*1 cup of heavy whipping cream

*1 box instant cheesecake pudding

Step 1: Heat the cream until just starting to boil. Pour over chocolate.

Step 2: Mix well and add white gel paste if choose to.

Step 3: Add pudding mix and mix well. Set aside.

********************

Putting it all together:

Step 1: Place cubes of cake in a layer. (About half of one 8 inch round.)

Step 2: Add 1/4 of the ganache on top of the cake.

Step 3: Add 1/4 of the cream on top of the ganache.

Step 4: Repeat 1-4 until you reach the top. Should be around 4 layers.

Optional: Use any fruit or nuts of your choice to decorate the top.
