Chewy Microwave Caramels
These are very soft and chewy caramels that you can make at home!

Needed to make
*1 cup butter
*1 cup sugar
*1 cup brown sugar
*1 cup light corn syrup
*1 cup sweetened condensed milk
Step 1: Melt butter in a large microwave safe bowl.
Step 2: Add the sugar, milk and syrup. Mix well.
Step 3: Cook in microwave for 3 minutes. Remove and stir well.
Step 4: Cook in microwave for another 3 minutes. Remove and mix well.
Step 5: Pour into a 9 x 13 that is well buttered. (If you want thinner caramels, use a buttered cookie sheet.)
Step 6: Once your caramels have set, pop in the freezer for 20 minutes to make cutting easier.
Step 7: Turn caramels over onto wax paper and cut into squares with a buttered knife. Wrap in wax paper and store in an air-tight container in the refrigerator.
