Pot Roast in the Crock Pot

This is a great way to make dinner when you don't have a lot of time to stand in the kitchen. Just throw it all in and let the crock pot do all the work for you!

*******************

Needed to make

* a pot roast

* 1 tsp. salt

*1 tsp. pepper

* 1/2 an onion

* 1 bag of baby carrots

* 3 to 5 potatoes

* 1 cup water

* 1 pkg. of whole button mushrooms

Step 1: Clean carrots, potatoes and mushrooms well with warm water.

Step 2: Cut potatoes and onion into large chucks.

Step 3: Add water, salt and pepper to crock pot. Then add roast, onion, potatoes and carrots til pot is full.

Step 4: Determine how long you will need to cook for. Should be 5 to 8 hours. (You can check your roast by cutting into, if any pink remains you need to continue cooking.)

Step 5: Cook on low, covered.

Cut roast and serve.
