Coleslaw

This is one of my grandmother's recipes. This is the only coleslaw I have ever liked.

*******************

Needed to make

* 1/2 cup sugar

* 1 cup milk

* 1 tsp. vinegar

* 1 medium cabbage

* 1 small onion

* 1 carrot

* 2 tsp. salt

* 1/4 tsp. pepper

* 1 cup mayonnaise

Step 1: In a food processor, add cabbage, onion and carrot. Shred them to small pieces.

Step 2: Place shredded vegetables in a large mixing bowl and set aside.

Step 3: In a small mixing bowl, add vinegar and milk and mix well. Let set for 5 minutes.

Step 4: In a medium mixing bowl, add sugar, salt, pepper and mayonnaise and mix well.

Step 5: Pour milk and vinegar mixture into the medium bowl and mix well.

Step 6: Pour mixture on top of vegetables and mix well. Let coleslaw sit for at least 1 hour in refrigerator before serving.

Serve cold.
