Picante Sauce

Now you can make your own picante sauce and make it as mild or as hot as you like! This is one of my grandmother's recipes.

*******************

Needed to make

* 1 jalepeno

* 1 med. onion

* 1 lrg. bell pepper

* 2 lrg. cans of tomatoes

* 1 tsp salt

* 2 tsp sugar

* 1 cup vinegar

* 2 small garlic cloves

Step 1: Cut bell pepper and onion into at least 6 pieces. Cut jalepeno and garlic into 4 ths.

Step 2: Place tomatoes, vinegar, salt and sugar into blender. Press one time.

Step 3: Add peppers, garlic and onion. Press one time.

Step 4: Store in a air tight container and leave to set in refrigerator for at least 3 days. It will thicken up during this time.

Serve cold with chips.
