Easy Homemade Meatballs


This is a great recipe that you can use to make meatball subs, add to my spaghetti recipe or even as an appetizer. This is one of my grandmother's recipes.

*******************

Needed to make

* 1 lb. ground beef

* 1 cup cracker crumbs

* 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

* 1 tbsp. minced parsley

* 1 clove minced garlic

* 1/2 lb. sausage

* 1/2 cup milk

* 2 eggs (beaten)

* 1/8 tsp. pepper

* 1 1/2 tsp. salt

Step 1: Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Add more cracker crumbs if mix is still to wet.

Step 2: Shape mix into meatballs up to 1" in size.

Step 3: Using a frying pan, add 4 tbsp. olive oil and brown meatballs all over.

*Options:

1. Add meatballs to pasta sauce in a crockpot for 20 minutes and serve as an appetizer with toothpicks or forks.

2. Add meatballs to pasta sauce in a sauce pan for 20 minutes. Serve on Hoagie buns with mozzarella for meatball subs.

3. Add to pasta sauce and simmer for 20 minutes. Serve over pasta.

*Optional: Make a batch of my homemade french bread to use. This goes great with my recipe's for spaghetti sauce, homemade pasta, and garlic bread. Also, goes great with caesar salad.
