This is a wonderful homemade pasta sauce that can be used for several meals. This is a mild sauce that kids love. This is one of my grandmother's recipes.

* 3 tbsp. olive oil

* 1 tsp. basil

* 2 tsp. salt

* 1/4 tsp. pepper

* 1 cup water

Step 1: Add onion, garlic and oil to a lrg. pot. Cook over medium heat until onion is transparent.

Step 2: Push tomatoes through a sieve. Add to pot.

Step 3: Add everything else to pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer for 45 minutes.

Now it's ready to serve.

This is an easy way to make your own garlic bread and it goes great with any pasta.

Needed to make

* 1 tbsp. garlic powder

* 1/2 cup butter

* 1 pkg. french bread (You can also use a loaf of my homemade french bread)

Step 1: Mix garlic and butter in a bowl until well blended.

Step 2: Spread on both half's of bread.

Step 3: Heat in oven at 350 until brown on top. About 3 to 5 minutes.

Serve warm.

*Optional: Make a batch of my homemade bread to use. This goes great with my recipe's for spaghetti sauce, homemade pasta, and meatballs. Also, goes great with caesar salad.
