Baked Ham with Sweet Glaze

This is a great ham for Easter with a lightly sweet glaze. This is one of my grandmother's recipes.

*******************

Needed to make

* 1 Ham

* whole cloves

* 3 or 4 pineapples slices

* 1/4 cup butter

* 4 tbsp. pineapple juice

* 1/4 cup mustard

* 1 cup brown sugar

Step 1: Remove fat and skin from ham until only 1/4-inch of fat is left. Cut fat in diagonal squares, shallow cuts, and place at clove in each square.

Step 2: In a sauce pan add sugar, butter, juice and mustard. Mix well and heat until it starts to thicken.

Step 3: Place ham in oven safe container to cook and pour mixture over the ham. Place pineapple slices on top of ham.

Step 4: Bake ham at 350 until well browned. About 20 minutes per lb.

Serve warm.

*Goes great with my recipes for potato salad, baked beans and deviled eggs.
