Roasted Chicken

Needed to Make:

* 1 whole chicken

* 1 medium size onion

* 3 tablespoons olive oil

* 1 1/2 tablespoons sage

* 1 1/2 tablespoons poultry seasoning

Step 1: Remove all of the chicken's insides and throw away. Rinse chicken in cold water.

Step 2: Cut onion into quarters and stuff inside your bird.

Step 3: In a small bowl, mix oil, sage and poultry seasoning together. Using a pastry brush, coat chicken all over and place in roasting pan.

Step 4: Check the packaging your chicken came in to find out how long you will need to cook it. It should give you the weight and time per pound.

If you are using your oven, add 1/2 cup of water to bottom of pan and cook at 350. Be sure to baste often.

If you are using a roasting oven, check if it is self basting, if not add 1/2 cup of water and cook at 350. If it is self basting, do not add water and cook at 350.
