Spider Web Cookies

Needed to make:

* sugar cookies cut as spider webs (recipe on site)

* a batch of royal icing (recipe on site)

* candy to make spiders (I used chocolate covered raisins

* black food coloring

Tools: piping bags, needle bowls, spoons

Step 1: Thin icing as you need, I suggest 2 tablespoons icing and 1 teaspoon water. Mix well. Move to piping bag and outline cookie.

Step 2: Flood the cookie and remove air bubbles as needed.

Step 3: Make black icing as follows. 3 tablespoons icing, 1 teaspoon water and 3 to 5 drops black food coloring. Mix well and move to piping bag.

Step 4: Draw on spider web.

Step 5: Add candy to make spider body and head. Add on legs with black icing.

Allow to dry for 20 minutes or so and serve.
